About me
Keren Eshed
I’m a certified Yoga Instructor based in Seattle.
I support individuals to reconnect with their bodies and cultivate mental and physical resilience through yoga therapy.
My yoga journey began after years of struggling with eating disorders, I finally found a way to connect with myself through the yoga practices. After becoming a lawyer and completing an MBA in Israel, I decided to follow my heart and dedicate myself to the practice and study of yoga. My journey led me to India, where I practiced and studied philosophy daily. My dedication to the yogic life and my experience with yoga as a therapeutic tool led me to yoga therapy trainings as I aspire to support others in their healing process.
I am currently pursuing a Master’s Degree in Yoga Studies at Loyola Marymount University.
My teaching style is approachable, trauma-informed, and suitable for everybody. I strive to share yoga and its contemplative qualities as a way of self-exploration, and support students to gain awareness and cultivate self-compassion.
Yoga For Eating Disorders Recovery
9% of the U.S population will have an eating disorder in their lifetime, so if you’re struggling – you’re not alone. There are many misconceptions and stigma surrounding eating disorders and disordered eating – you do not have to look a certain way or to have a diagnosis to struggle with an eating disorder or disordered eating.
Years of struggling with eating disorders, have left me disconnected from my body and emotions. Through a consistent yoga practice, I began to feel at home within my body. Just like any process, building a relationship with yourself and your body takes dedication, effort and patience and I would like nothing more than to support you in your journey. In these sessions, I bring years of personal experience with eating disorders and yoga therapy tools to support you to cultivate compassion and appreciation for yourself and your body. We will address your specific needs with different practices to support you in your recovery path.
